Uni-Orange launches its Future Institute of Technology
YANTAI, China, Sept. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Future Institute of Technology (FIT), originated from Uni-Orange Design Ltd. (Uni-Orange), broke ground in Yantai, Shandong province on September 4th, marking a new milestone in Uni-Orange's pursuit of industrial innovation. Pan Jiadong, vice-president of FIT, together with Zhai Qikun, managing director of Uni-Orange's Yantai business unit, attended the starting ceremony.
Assembling talents on and off line to speed up industrial innovation
Pan said that he hoped FIT could coordinate with Uni-Orange's Collaborative Design System (CDS) to provide industrial companies at home and abroad with real practical help, assemble top international talents, break the barriers in the convergence of leading industrial technologies, and innovate to promote the development of the industry.
Development plan of China's intelligent manufacturing from 2016 to 2020, a policy document released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and Ministry of Finance in 2016, pointed out that China seeks to foster a high-quality talent team of intelligent manufacturing.
In response to the policy, FIT has launched Unmanned Equipment Lab, IoT and Sensor Technology Lab, Advanced Agricultural Equipment Lab, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Lab. Through these projects, Uni-Orange is now conducting advanced researches and new product development.
