During the month of January, Mexican singer/songwriter Julieta Venegas was also the most searched in the entertainment, celebrity and music categories. Searches for legendary Argentine singer and actor Sandro, also known as the "Argentine Elvis," dominated the news category, after searches on Haiti, and also placed him among the most searched in the celebrities, entertainment and music categories, after news of his death surfaced earlier last month. The popular sports website Roja Directa, which provides fans links to channels or streams of soccer competitions, landed the number one spot in the sports category. Yahoo! En Espanol users also searched for the blockbuster movie Avatar, which was among the most popular topics in the technology category. Updated daily, Yahoo!
