RegScan Expands Multilingual Options
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa., Sept. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- RegScan, Inc. proudly announces that we have expanded our multilingual capabilities to nine languages by including Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Malay, Italian and Portuguese to our existing support for French, German, Spanish, and English.
The updates went online last week, giving global users of the RegScan One platform – particularly non-English speakers in Europe and Asia – increased access to RegScan products and services, making it easier for EHS professionals to streamline operations across their global facilities.
Instead of managing separate systems for facilities in each jurisdiction, users of RegScan One tools can access all their legal registers and audit protocols on a single system. Multilingual capabilities eliminate the need for several systems and expand roles for non-English speakers.
"As our reach has continued to expand overseas, we knew we needed to increase our native language options for the non-English speaking world," said Ned Ertel, President and C.E.O. of RegScan. "Since our user interface now covers most major European and Asian languages, we are in a good position to increase our global market share."
The RegScan One system allows users to determine which regulations apply, build their own legal registers and audit protocols, and monitor compliance anywhere in the world. It works exactly the same way no matter where you are, from Tokyo to Turin to Tacoma. Information may be accessed through the RegScan One interface, or via web services on any online environmental management system.
Built-in alert tools keep global facility managers up-to-date, and native-language training resources can be made available. Additionally, enhanced services such as our monthly RegScan Country Monitor newsletter publications (English Language only) offer RegScan users expert analysis on current and pending rulemaking.
