Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Announces Temporary Closure of 801 Market Street County Assistance Office

PHILADELPHIA, March 21, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) today announced that the 801 Market Street County Assistance Office (CAO) in Philadelphia will be temporarily closed on March 22. Information on when the CAO will reopen will be provided as that information becomes available.

The 801 Market Street Bureau of Hearings and Appeals will not be open to the public for the remainder of the week. If you have questions regarding your appeal, please contact the Philadelphia office at (215) 560-2145 or headquarters in Harrisburg at (717) 783-3950.

If citizens need to apply for Emergency Shelter Assistance, they can visit DHS on the first floor of 5740 Market St., Philadelphia or call (215) 560-3800.
