Northland Preparatory Academy to Celebrate School Choice with Donuts, Rally
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Several hundred students, teachers, and parents will participate in Northland Preparatory Academy's "We Choose NPA" pep rally at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 25. The event will feature reflections by students and teachers about why they are grateful for school choice.
Families in Northland Preparatory Academy's car line will also be greeted with donuts and coffee to celebrate their choice to attend the charter school.
These events and activities are planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
"We want to celebrate the educational options available to families and highlight our school's culture of student engagement and academic excellence," said Toni Keberlein, principal of Northland Preparatory Academy.
Northland Preparatory Academy is a public charter school currently serving 640 students in grades 6-12. The school provides a coordinated, individualized program of study that promotes academic excellence.
As a nonpartisan, nonpolitical public awareness effort, National School Choice Week shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for students, families, and communities around the country.
