Microsoft Corporation Analyst Notes
On May 2, 2014, Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft) announced its plans to open the first U.S. based Microsoft Innovation Center (MIC) in Miami, Florida later this spring. Verizon Communications Inc. Analyst Notes
On May 1, 2014, Verizon Communications Inc. (Verizon) announced preliminary results of the shareholder vote at its annual meeting. The management proposals which met with approval from substantial majority of shareholders include: Election of each of Verizon's 11 directors standing for election to a one-year term; Appointment of Ernst & Young as the Company's independent registered public accounting firm; Compensation of the Company's executive officers as described in the 2014 proxy statement; implementation of proxy access, which allows shareholders to nominate Board candidates under certain conditions.
