NC Senate Candidate Thom Tillis Receives An Endorsement From Ambassador Bolton & The Maximum Contribution From The John Bolton PAC
The endorsement and $10,000 contribution constitute the 11th candidate Ambassador Bolton has supported for the midterm elections
WASHINGTON, July 23, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- North Carolina House Speaker Thom Tillis receives a $10,000 contribution from John Bolton's PAC and the Ambassador endorses Tillis' campaign for U.S. Senate. Tillis, the N.C. House majority leader, is running against Democratic Senator Kay Hagan in a race that polls indicate is a dead heat, and political pundits designate as a 'toss up' election. The senate campaign in North Carolina is seen as a bellwether race for the midterm elections.
"Thom Tillis is a proven leader who has brought conservative reform to North Carolina; the same reform that is badly needed in Washington," said Ambassador John Bolton. "The U.S. Senate needs more leaders with the conviction Thom has, and I strongly support his campaign for senate. He fully understands the importance of a strong American national-security policy."
"Kay Hagan needs to be held accountable for her blind support of failed Obama policies at home and overseas," said Ambassador Bolton. "Her first priority has been to serve Barack Obama, not represent the voters from the Tarheel State. Just as President Obama lost North Carolina in 2012, Kay Hagan's career as a Senator is nearing its end."
This is the 11th endorsement and contribution from Ambassador Bolton's PAC, which has already made contributions to U.S. Senate candidates Ed Gillespie (VA), Tom Cotton (AR), Joni Ernst (IA), Terri Lynn Land (MI), and Mitch McConnell (KY), along with U.S. House of Representatives candidates Martha McSally (AZ-2), Barbara Comstock (VA-10), Adam Kinzinger (IL-16), Robert Dold (Il-10), and Mike Pompeo (KA-4). The combined money raised for the two PACs is over $4 million to date with nearly $3 million cash on hand, and the PAC will ramp up support for candidates in key races across America.
Additionally, the John Bolton Super PAC is currently running its first independent advertisement against New Hampshire Representative Ann Kuster (NH-2) for her baffling take on national security, avoiding questions about the Benghazi tragedy, and stating that Benghazi is not part of the Middle East. The ad can be seen here: http://boltonsuperpac.com/baffled/. The $30,000 digital ad buy will run through July across New Hampshire.
About John Bolton PAC (www.boltonpac.com): The John Bolton PAC will support and contribute to candidates for nomination and for election to federal office who are committed to restoring strong American economic and national security policies that secure America's interests in a challenging world.
