Credit Suisse Presented Opportunity International Corporate Leadership Award 2017
Leading Chicago-based Global Empowerment and Microfinance Social Enterprise Celebrates Award during National Summit
CHICAGO, Nov. 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Opportunity International is pleased to announce Credit Suisse as the recipient of their Strategic Leadership Award, given to an outstanding corporation or foundation partner that is aligned with its mission. Opportunity International is a global non-profit organization that provides access to loans, savings programs, insurance and training to help millions of families around the world break the cycle of poverty. The award, presented at the Opportunity International Summit October 27, celebrates Credit Suisse's outstanding activities in the area of Corporate Responsibility and its support to the global nonprofit.

This year, Credit Suisse celebrates 15 years of pioneering microfinance and impact investing. Most recently, Credit Suisse and Opportunity International have partnered to expand the global nonprofit's Education Finance program to invest in the education of children living in under-resourced communities which has impacted 2 million children to date.
