(NASDAQ: ZYXI), an innovative medical technology company specializing in the manufacture and sale of non-invasive medical devices for pain management, stroke rehabilitation, cardiac monitoring and neurological diagnostics, today announced that it has hired Rachelle (Chelle) Van Burkleo as its Vice President of Sales.
Chelle brings more than 20 years of experience and an exceptional level of expertise in med-tech device sales. Previously, Chelle was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at WiscMed where she led strategic marketing initiatives and business sales plan development.
Prior to WiscMed, Chelle was a senior sales and business development leader with Welch Allyn (Hillrom), a global medical device manufacturer. She started her career at Welch Allyn in 1995, working with physicians to advance frontline care. Throughout her career, she has taken on numerous roles of progressive responsibility ultimately helping healthcare systems improve outcomes, lower cost of care and improve both the clinician and patient experience.
Chelle holds a Texas Executive Education certificate in general management and a bachelor's degree in business from the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas – Austin.
