Zyga Technology, Inc. Makes Two Key Additions to the Sales Leadership Team

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Zyga Technology, Inc. announced today that Joe Chaudoin and Chris Benton have joined the company and will serve as Vice President of Sales for the Eastern and Western regions respectively.

Joe Chaudoin has over 20 years of experience in the Medical Device Industry.  He began his career at Codman and Ethicon-Endo Surgery (both Johnson & Johnson Companies) where he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing and business development, both domestic and international.  He began his career in spine at Sofamor Danek holding various management positions culminating with VP of Sales and Marketing for Interventional Spine.  In 2006 Joe joined Kyphon Inc. as VP Marketing and New Technology.  Most recently, Joe was Sr. VP, Global Market Expansion for K2M.  Joe holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Arizona and attended the Executive Business Program at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University

Prior to joining Zyga, Chris Benton was the District Sales Manager for Vertos Medical, Inc.  Chris spent 13 years as principal owner of Benton BioMedical, Inc., a distributor of Medtronic Spine and Biologics.  Medtronic acquired Benton BioMedical in 2009.  Chris started his career in medical device sales, holding several sales leadership positions at Medicraft, Inc. and Baxter Healthcare. Chris graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Biology.
