SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 18, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Zultys, a leading provider of innovative unified communications solutions that empower businesses to collaborate effectively, today announced Release 13 for the award-winning MX platform of on premises, virtualized and hosted solutions.
With security becoming an increasingly serious issue for corporations, Zultys is ramping up the already-impressive protection of their Unified Communication Solution in the new release, as well as additional features for call routing, reliability and more.
The new release includes updates to the security of MX systems, which is a welcome protection with so many hackers threatening businesses' private information. MX systems now support voice encryption based on Secure RTP to ensure communications remain private when using Zultys phones and softphones supported via Zultys' Unified Communication clients, like MXIE and ZAC. Zultys has also bolstered the password security of phones that are connected to the corporate communication system. These features give customers peace of mind that their sensitive information and communications are protected from potential hacking attempts.
"Zultys strives to offer our partners and customers the most convenient and secure experience possible," said John Osgood, Executive Vice President of Sales at Zultys. "Zultys is dedicated to the continued improvement to the security of our systems with every new release, with Release 13 adding some major features that prevent unauthorized access to our customer's data utilizing the latest encryption technology."
Release 13 also introduces a new call routing option for Zultys customers that utilize the Contact Center solution. When a customer calls into your business asking for help, you want to make sure to address their problems in the most efficient manner. Increase customer satisfaction by making sure that they don't have to explain their problem twice and can pick up the conversation with the agent helping them before, minimizes their frustration and maximizes the chances that they will have a successful experience working with your contact center. You can also choose to configure the phone system to route returning calls to a specific location—send them to second level of support or your most skilled agent—to ensure that if customer's needs were not met the first time, they will get priority service.
Among other improvements for Zultys customers included in Release 13 are:
- A web-based portal for configuring Call Handling Rules and Notifications which provides a cost-effective alternative for customers who do not need a fully-featured unified communication and collaboration tool, like MXIE or ZAC, but would like to benefit from an easy-to-use option for setting up advanced ways to route incoming calls to their extension.
- Support for 1+1 redundancy for the MX-E product to provide an even higher level of redundancy and resilience for large corporations. The MX-E IP Phone System for Enterprises, first introduced in January of this year, supports up to 2,000 users in a single 2RU appliance.
MX Release 13.0 is available to download immediately. Existing customers should contact their Zultys Authorized Channel Partner for further information.
