ZS Oncology Practice Head Named One of Consulting Magazine's Top Women Leaders

EVANSTON, Ill., Oct. 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Maria Whitman, leader of the oncology and specialty therapeutics practice for global sales and marketing firm ZS, was recently named one of the 2015 "Women Leaders in Consulting" by Consulting magazine.

Whitman, a managing principal at the firm, is one of 13 recipients who will be recognized at the ninth annual Women Leaders in Consulting Gala Awards Dinner on Nov. 12 at the St. Regis New York. She is the second ZS principal to win a "Women Leaders in Consulting" award.

Whitman works with established and emerging pharmaceutical companies worldwide on a range of strategic marketing and sales issues, including brand and portfolio strategy, launch excellence and effectiveness, and customer experience. Since Whitman assumed leadership of oncology and specialty therapeutics at ZS in 2014, revenues for the practice have grown more than 40 percent. Further, ZS now assists in more than half of all new oncology product launches today.
