SAN DIEGO, Oct. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc. will debut its most energy efficient pool system in booths 2021 and 2029a at the International Pool, Spa and Patio Expo (PSP) in New Orleans at the Morial Convention Center from Nov. 2-8, 2012. In addition, Steve Gutai, Zodiac's director of product development, hydraulics and heating systems, will present a workshop on applied hydraulics for building professionals as part of the APSP Builder Institute, Builder/Contractor track on Nov. 4 from 8-9:30 am. The PSP show brings together builders, retailers, service professionals and landscape architects with manufacturers, suppliers and service providers to showcase the latest products as well as provide education and networking opportunities.

Zodiac has continued its commitment to continual product improvement with the introduction of the Zodiac Pool, with components engineered to work flawlessly together. Key components to be exhibited include professional grade equipment that achieves hydraulic efficiency, variable speed pumps that use up to 90 percent less energy, automatic controllers that allow energy savings through proprietary seasonal scheduling, pool cleaners that operate on just pennies per day, and pool covers that will save homeowners up to 70 percent on energy, chemicals and water loss. The centerpiece of the Zodiac Pool is the Versa Plumb® system in the Jandy® Pro Series product line. Versa Plumb has been engineered as a modular system with exceptional hydraulic efficiency and intelligent design elements, resulting in one of the most energy-efficient pool systems in the industry. It is comprised of a pool pump, filter and heater that have been designed to work together as a whole system, minimizing plumbing requirements and maximizing efficiency.
