Technology Leader Debuts New Features to Help Providers Reconcile Payments Quickly
LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- (HIMSS Booth #6647) -- ZirMed®, which empowers healthcare organizations to optimize revenue and population health with the nation's only comprehensive end-to-end platform of cloud-based financial and clinical performance management solutions, today announced that it will launch its Remit and Deposit Management solution at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society 2016 Annual Conference & Exhibition (HIMSS16). ZirMed will also be hosting clients and a full lineup of product demonstrations at the show.
ZirMed's new Remit and Deposit Management solution gives up-to-date banking information to providers so they can quickly and accurately post payments. Historically, providers would have to wait for each bank statement to arrive and conduct manual checks to reconcile each remit. Now, ZirMed's solution automates the process by offering a direct connection to providers' banking accounts to save time, reduce days in Accounts Receivable and improve cash flow.
ZirMed's client, Innovative Senior Care, a long-term care hospital based in Tennessee, shared the success that it has seen after piloting the new solution. "With this automated way to reconcile our payments, we're able to quickly uncover missing remits and get a more holistic view of the revenue cycle," said Candi Bell, Cash Applications Manager at Innovative Senior Care. "Overall, reconciliation used to be a four hour daily process and now we've reduced it to one hour."
At the conference, ZirMed will also be discussing how its solutions support providers in three key areas: revenue cycle management, charge integrity and population health. The company will have clients from Stanford Children's Health and Coast Healthcare on hand to share how ZirMed is helping each organization solve challenges such as uncompensated care, patient responsibility, and the shift to fee-for-value.
"In the last year, we've seen a wave of new payment complexity hit providers," said Tom Butts, CEO, ZirMed. "We're looking forward to this time at HIMSS to share how we help providers address these hurdles. The launch of our newest solution is just the latest example of how we are constantly evolving our technology with a focus on the provider – helping them get paid quickly and accurately."
ZirMed's cloud-based solutions help over 300,000 providers and more than 400 hospitals and health systems optimize financial performance and population health. At HIMSS, ZirMed will be hosting several product demonstrations at booth #6647 focusing on population health (Tuesday, March 1 at 11 a.m. PST), revenue cycle management (Tuesday, March 1 at 2 p.m. PST) and cash acceleration (Wednesday, March 2 at 11 a.m. PST).
