In auctions closed from September 21, 2011 to September 27, 2011, investors purchasing FDIC-insured CDs in the auctions received average yields 0.71 percentage points, or 71 basis points, higher than average yields on similar CDs as reported in Informa Research Services Top 50 National APYs, September 27, 2011.
