ZINO Society Fund Investors Select Finalists for $50,000 Fund
SEATTLE, April 27, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Four finalists were chosen to vie for the $50,000 ZINO Fund at ZINO Society's 5th Annual ZINO Green Investment Forum, April 26, 2011.
With ZINO Society's focus on promoting and empowering entrepreneurism, twenty-one entrepreneurs presented at ZINO Green Investment Forum including one flight of student entrepreneurs. The youngest entrepreneur team presenting were juniors from Bush School. The students were not eligible for fund consideration, but were able to pitch their nascent ideas to a room full of investors and business professionals. Entrepreneurs were represented in the areas of cleantech, green IT, energy efficiency, socially conscience and sustainable consumer products and services.
Finalists were asked questions by expert panelists and investors during "Due Diligence LIVE". Panelists include: Amy Bann, The Boeing Company, Jay Inslee, U.S. Congress Member, WA 01, Tom Ranken, Clean Tech Association, Mark Schuster, The Schuster Group and CJ Voss, Stoel Rives.
