"This is an exciting time for ZINIO. We just launched ZINIO PRO, a new SaaS-based platform that enables magazine publishers to create native, branded applications for every platform, but also distribute those apps to our growing network of distribution partners," said Arthur Becker, the company's current Chairman and CEO, who will remain Chairman of the company "Leveraging the acquisition ZINIO made last year of technology from Audience Media and expanding the services we offer publishers builds on ZINIO's 10-year history of leadership in the digital magazine industry."
"Following the sale of his company, we retained Kelly as a consultant to help shape this new strategy, and we are delighted that he agreed to become the company's next CEO to execute on this plan," Becker added. "Kelly's two decades of experience in the magazine industry, and most recently in leading a technology-focused enterprise, make him perfectly suited to lead ZINIO in its next chapter."
"I'm excited to join ZINIO as it embarks on the launch of ZINIO PRO and its plan to accelerate the adoption of digital magazines by providing our global publishing partners the platform they need to not only produce digital products, but to get those products distributed wherever consumers can discover and purchase digital magazines," Conlin said.
