Zimmer Launches Puros® Demineralized Bone Matrix (DBM) Block and Strip

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Zimmer Spine, Inc., a global leader in spine innovation, today announced the U.S. market launch of Puros Demineralized Bone Matrix (DBM) Block and Strip — bone graft substitutes used to stimulate natural bone formation processes in spine surgical procedures.  Used alone or as a bone graft extender, Puros DBM allografts provide osteoconductive and osteoinductive properties, improved handling and excellent graft containment in a ready-to-use application.  Puros DBM Block and Strip, provided through a partnership with AlloSource® (Centennial, CO), are flexible and compressible once rehydrated, and are available in a variety of sizes and shapes to reduce transplant preparation time.
