Zimmer Announces Launch of Viewline Retractor System, Tube Retraction System and Posterior Instrument Set for Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Zimmer Spine, Inc. today announced that the Company has launched the Viewline Tube Retraction System, Viewline Retractor System, and Viewline Posterior MIS Instrument Set to facilitate exposure, retraction, decompression and disc preparation for MIS TLIF/PLIF/PLF and microdiscectomy procedures.

The Viewline Tube Retraction System features 40mm through 120mm tube length options, as well as three tube diameters to accommodate a range of spinal anatomy. The Viewline Retractor System offers 50mm through 120mm blade options with 30 degrees of blade pivoting for maximum access through a smaller incision, as well as two, three or four blades that move independently for maximum customization.  Both Viewline Systems feature an innovative angled attachment arm to minimize tube profile, a rotating table clamp providing rigid stabilization and a cool LED light source to improve visualization while reducing heat exposure during surgery.
