Ziff Davis Enterprise Editorial Bolsters Leadership Team to Meet Growing Market Demands
Eric Lundquist and Elliot Markowitz Promoted to Lead Ziff Davis Enterprise's Growing Brands
NEW YORK, March 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ziff Davis Enterprise, a leader in innovative enterprise IT media and engagement solutions, announced the promotion of two industry veterans, Eric Lundquist and Elliot Markowitz, to lead the company's editorial operations.
Eric Lundquist, an industry icon who for many years served as editor and editorial director of eWEEK, eWEEK.com, and PC Week before that, is being promoted to Senior Vice President, Editorial. Eric will leverage his industry knowledge to set editorial strategy across all Ziff Davis Enterprise brands. He will help guide and develop all Ziff Davis Enterprise editorial products to make sure they remain the leading sources of information in the IT industry.
Ziff Davis Enterprise is also promoting Elliot Markowitz to Senior Vice President, Director of Content, overseeing the day-to-day operations of all of Ziff Davis Enterprise's editorial brands, its Strategic Content Group and Digital Events. Elliot is a 20-year-plus editorial veteran with deep industry knowledge, contacts and experience in running a large-scale editorial operation. His past positions include Editorial Director, Nielsen Business Media; Editorial Director, Ziff Davis Digital Events; and Editor, CRN, among others.
Both will report to Ziff Davis Enterprise CEO Steve Weitzner.
