Zia U. Khan, M.D., FACC, FSCAI is recognized by Continental Who's Who

LAS VEGAS, Dec. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Continental Who's Who recognizes Zia U. Khan, M.D., FACC, FSCAI, as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of his contributions to the Healthcare field.

As a Cardiologist at Desert Cardiovascular Consultants, Dr. Khan brings extensive expertise in Interventional Cardiology to his role. He has been in the medical field for 17 years and always was clear that he wanted to go into the facet of internal medicine.

Dr. Khan earned his Medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He also completed his Residency at the University of Cincinnati and then went on to work two fellowships; one in Cardiology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and the other in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Louisville. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology through the American Board of Internal Medicine.

To further his professional development, Dr. Khan is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

In recognition of his work, Dr. Khan was awarded the Las Vegas Top Cardiologist Award in 2016 as well as the Man of the Year Award in 2007 by Catholic Charities of Nevada.
