Zhaopin Limited Opens Second Call Center in Suzhou
BEIJING, Oct. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Zhaopin Limited (NYSE: ZPIN) ("Zhaopin" or the "Company"), a leading career platform in China, today announced the opening of its second call center in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. The Suzhou call center is expected to facilitate the acquisition of new customers in lower-tier cities, expand Zhaopin's market share in southern China, and will allow the Company to better serve small-and-medium-sized enterprises ("SMEs") in a cost-effective way.
The Company believes the Suzhou call center will directly complement and further strengthen its leadership position in southern China following the acquisition of Jobs DB China Investments Limited and its consolidated affiliate Shenzhen Xijier Human Resources Co., Ltd (collectively, "CJOL") from Jobs DB Inc., in June 2014.
"I am pleased to announce the opening of our second call center which will further enhance our leadership position in southern China," commented Mr. Evan Guo, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Zhaopin. "Our call centers provide us with a highly cost-effective way to penetrate into lower-tier cities as we execute our strategy to increase our market share in China. The Suzhou call center will help improve our resource allocation to better serve SMEs and effectively target new customers. We will continue to make more cost-effective and focused investments such as this in order to solidify our position as a leading career platform in China, connecting the largest number of users with career opportunities throughout their career lifecycle."
