Zhaopin Kicks off Nominations for China's Best Employer Award 2017
BEIJING, Aug. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Zhaopin Limited (NYSE: ZPIN) ("Zhaopin" or the "Company"), a leading career platform1 in China focused on connecting users with relevant job opportunities throughout their career lifecycle, kicked off the nomination process for the annual "China's Best Employer Award" together with Peking University Social Survey Research Center.
Launched in 2005, "China's Best Employer Award" has become the most influential and prestigious brand nomination event for both China-based and multinational employers. The "Oscars" of the human resources industry in China, the award is both a valuable reference for job seekers, and an important way for local and international employers to measure themselves and their work environment against the best in the industry. Last year more than 9,700 candidate employers competed for the awards and over 28 million votes were casted by employees nationwide.

China's Best Employer Award 2017 will include: China's Best Employer Nationwide TOP 100, China's Best Employer Nationwide TOP 30, China's Best Employer for University Students, China's Best Employer for Female Employees, China's Most Socially Responsible Employer, China's Most Aspiring Employers, China's Most Intellectually Spirited Employer, China's Best Employers in Cities, and China's Most Aspiring Employers in Cities.
UN Women will collaborate with Zhaopin on "China's Best Employer for Female Employees" this year. UN Women will integrate the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) into the award selection criteria.
Employers, both China-based companies and multinational companies with China operations, can apply for the award by registration through best.zhaopin.com or [email protected] until August 31, 2017. China's Best Employer Nationwide TOP 100 award will be announced in September 2017. A grand ceremony will be held in December 2017 to announce award winners.
The award selection is based on professional and fair evaluation by the jury committee and public online voting by employees and job seekers. The jury committee consists of academic professionals, employment specialists, senior media reporters and third-party consultants. The professional evaluation will focus on employer image, management, salary and benefits, growth and training, work environment and company culture. A jury team of 1,000 HR professionals will review the nominations made by the public.
