NEW YORK, Oct. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CCILU Footwear, via its North American subsidiary, CCILU USA, has donated nearly 1200 pairs of shoes and sneakers to QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes On Sale," a Multimedia Event for Breast Cancer Research & Education. The program includes a broadcast event and a gala at the Waldorf Astoria on Oct 25, with actress, singer, dancer and fashion icon Zendaya appearing as the QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" 2016 PSA Spokesperson.
"We are honored to be part of this impactful endeavor, which has done so much to find a cure for breast cancer," said CCILU CEO Wilson Hsu. In addition to its own footwear line, the company is bringing brands like RegettaCanoe and Syunsoku to the North American market. "When we made the decision to establish a full-time physical presence in America (CCILU USA is based in Southern California), it was a priority to align with causes that benefit the community. We expect this year's QVC program to be the beginning of an enduring relationship."
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2016, the 23rd Annual QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" event offers sale prices, representing half the manufacturer's suggested retail price*, on over 85,000 pairs of brand name, donated shoes and accessories, with 80% of the purchase price** benefitting breast cancer research and education. The program is part of QVC's ongoing commitment to support charitable causes that promote the success and wellness of women through the power of relationships. QVC Presents "FFANY Shoes on Sale" has generated more than $50 million for breast cancer research and education since 1994.
Among the CCILU shoes donated are the ATKA for women, as well as the KONIFER and AMAZON for men.
