Zend Launches Worldwide Center of Excellence Program

CUPERTINO, Calif., Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Zend Technologies, the PHP Company, today announced the launch of its new Zend Center of Excellence (CoE) program, creating new opportunities for PHP solution developers to extend their global reach and competitiveness while meeting enterprise requirements to augment IT staff with PHP expertise.  Under the program, Zend Solution Partners that are equipped to develop and provide enterprise customers with innovative and productive applications using Zend software and PHP best practices will be eligible to earn a Zend CoE designation.  Zend marked the launch of this new program by naming OSSCube as its first Zend CoE, serving enterprise customers in the United States, the U.K. and India.

The Zend Center of Excellence program reflects Zend's ongoing commitment to PHP community thought leadership and knowledge sharing for effective use of PHP open source and commercial software to solve application development challenges in the enterprise.  Zend CoE recognition will be given to Zend Solution Partners with a track record of successful projects and trained Zend Certified Engineers (ZCEs) on board with demonstrated skills and solution delivery capabilities around Zend software.  Zend Solution Partners can standardize on the software industry's leading PHP Web application framework and tools for on-premise and cloud computing environments through Zend's Unlimited Subscription, including Zend Server Web application server; Zend Studio IDE, the leading integrated development environment for PHP; and Zend Framework, the leading PHP application framework.
