SAN FRANCISCO, April 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Zeepro announces that the Zeepro app is now available for download in Microsoft Stores through any Windows 8 device. This companion app connects users to the Zim, an innovative 3D printer that allows you to print from anywhere at any time. Notable features that Zeepro carries are: monitor printing remotely through the Zim HD onboard camera, share automatically generated time-lapse videos of prints on social networks, load and unload cartridges in just a few clicks.
Zeepro partnered with Microsoft on March 24th to showcase the Zeepro app in Santa Clara, Microsoft's biggest Silicon Valley retail store. The demo session was a unique experience for kids and teens to better understand how easy and playful 3D printing can really be. Through collaborative group work and interaction with the Zeepro app, it informed students what 3D printing is, the basic mechanics of a 3D printer, how to design an actual 3D print model. By seeing an actual 3D printer – the Zim – in action, the students had a chance to be in the shoes of a 3D print artist!
Philippe Guglielmetti, CEO, says, "Executing a simple process of 3D printing and making 3D creations accessible for our children is one of Zeepro's missions. We are glad to have found a partner like Microsoft that shares this vision, and are aiming to renew the Zeepro Academy demo at their stores."
