Zeel Hires New Jersey Regional Manager

Eva Carey brings 25+ years of massage industry expertise to the Massage On Demand company

NEW YORK, March 16, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Zeel, the Massage On Demand® company, announces Eva Carey as the company's New Jersey Regional Manager, starting March 24. Carey is responsible for launching and growing Zeel's operations in New Jersey.

Carey was previously president of the Hoboken campus of Cortiva Institute, the largest network of massage schools in the country. Carey was brought on as president for the campus when it was established in 2010, presiding over 250 graduates in that position.

At Cortiva Institute, Carey oversaw all campus management as well as marketing, recruitment of faculty, staff and students, regulatory compliance, placement of graduates, and community outreach. The Cortiva Institute is a member of the Steiner Education Group (SEG), which operates massage therapy and skin care schools at 31 locations in 14 states.

Prior to leading Cortiva-Hoboken, she had founded and operated her own massage school, Healing Hands Institute, for 20 years. Under Carey's tenure, Healing Hands grew from a small family-run business to a respected massage therapy school, graduating over 1,500 massage therapists.

Carey received an MBA in International Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. Prior to becoming a licensed massage therapist and educator, Carey was a bond trader with Morgan Stanley in New York.

An AMTA member, Carey is a nationally-certified massage therapist as well as a New Jersey licensed massage therapist.
