LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., March 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Zebra Technologies Corporation today unveiled a unique online assessment that healthcare providers can use to determine if the EHR technology they have in place is driving patient safety by enabling efficient, accurate processing of patient information.

Healthcare providers can access the one-minute assessment Clarity at the Point of Care at http://clarity.zebra.com/. After answering just a few short questions healthcare providers will receive a report that provides feedback on their current EHR technology and processes and also offers strategies for improvement.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) reported that the percentage of doctors adopting electronic health records has increased from 48 percent in 2009 to 72 percent in 2012.
