Zales Presents the New Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Ring to the Class of 2016
DALLAS, Texas, Sept. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- As the Official Ring Provider of The Basketball Hall of Fame, Zales Jewelers proudly presented the new Hall of Fame Ring to the Class of 2016 inductees during a special ceremony, which took place on Saturday, September 10.
The new ring is set in 14 karat gold and has a total diamond weight of 1 5/8 carats. The stunning design features an orange carnelian stone, carefully set to resemble a basketball, with a dazzling cluster of diamonds and a depiction of the iconic Basketball Hall of Fame spire.
The Zales Basketball Hall of Fame Ring celebrates the unique distinction of induction through state-of-the-art craftsmanship. One side of the ring features the inductee's name and enshrinement class along with a depiction of the physical Hall of Fame building. The other side features the official Hall of Fame designation above an engraving of Dr. James Naismith – the inventor of the game of basketball.
