"No contract is the fastest growing segment in mobile services because people want more choice, better prices, and no hidden costs. Zact takes no contract to a whole new level with real-time, on-device software that lets you customize the experience like never before," said Greg Raleigh, founder and CEO of ItsOn Inc., parent company of Zact. "We're excited to partner with Best Buy Mobile and put our service into the hands of more people who want the ultimate smart mobile service that allows them to customize, save, and even get money back when they don't use all of the service they've purchased."
Starting today, smartphones from Zact available at Best Buy Mobile specialty stores nationwide include the Samsung Galaxy S3 at a suggested retail price of $499.00 and the ZTE Awe at a suggested retail price of $199.00. Customize & Save
Zact offers nationwide coverage using the Sprint Nationwide Network and offers talk, text, and data plans that start out as low as $3.49 per month. Customers are able to easily customize their plan and select almost any increment of talk, text and data—using the on-device software from Zact. There's no need to worry about selecting a plan that is too big because Zact credits money back to a user's account if they've bought too much. Or when more is needed, Zact will provide an alert, and the customer can add more talk, text or data to their plan with a few taps. Any Zact plan is sharable among family or friends—there is no limit to the number of Zact-enabled devices that can be added to an account. Outside of a $4.99 monthly line charge per device, there are no additional fees and no need to buy a separate plan. With Zact, a single customer on average spends $21.88 per month for a plan. For a family of four, the average is $60 to 80 for a plan, making Zact the most economical plan for smartphone users.
Robust Parental Controls and a New Zact Control App
For families with children, Zact comes with built-in parental controls that allow parents to remotely set curfews on talk or text, so there are no worries about late night texting. It allows parents to restrict certain apps at certain times of the day, such as limiting gaming or social media apps during school hours. In addition, parents can restrict browsing and contacts. Parental control of a Zact phone can be easily managed remotely from a parent's Zact device, or using a new downloadable Zact Control app. Available now on iTunes or Google Play at no cost, the new Zact Control app allows parents to keep their existing phone, download an app, and have remote control of a child's Zact phone.
