EAGAN, Minn., June 22, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (Blue Cross) today announced Zachary Meyer as vice president of wellness and prevention. In this role, Meyer will be responsible for leading community and business strategies for wellness and prevention.

Meyer previously served as executive vice president and general manager at Ceridian Health & Productivity Solutions, a global human resources outsourcing company. In this role he led and managed Ceridian LifeWork's Strategic Business Unit – providing services to over 21 million individuals and 41,000 organizations within commercial, government and institutional markets. In addition to his clinical experience at Mayo Clinic, Meyer also held leadership positions with CIGNA Behavioral Health, Allina and North Memorial Medical Center.
