Z Capital Appoints Josh Kirschbaum as Operating Partner
Brings Deep Expertise from Experience as President and COO of Z Capital Portfolio Company
NEW YORK, July 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Z Capital Group, L.L.C. ("Z Capital"), a leading alternative asset manager of opportunistic, value-oriented private equity and credit funds, today announced the appointment of Josh Kirschbaum as an Operating Partner. Mr. Kirschbaum will be based in Z Capital's Lake Forest office and joins the Private Equity Operating Partner team to assist in the management and oversight of portfolio company operations initiatives including procurement, lean initiatives, cost controls, and logistics.
Mr. Kirschbaum brings nearly two decades of operating knowledge and industry expertise to Z Capital. Prior to joining Z Capital, Mr. Kirschbaum served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Modere, a healthy, safe and clean-lifestyle brand and a Z Capital portfolio company. In this role, Mr. Kirschbaum led Corporate Finance, Legal and Regulatory, Human Resources, Information Technology, Global Operations, Logistics and Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, Global Sourcing, Quality, and Project Management. Along with other portfolio companies, Mr. Kirschbaum will continue to partner with the strong Modere management team in his new role. Prior to his time at Modere, Mr. Kirschbaum served as Chief Operating Officer at Gilchrist & Soames, a leading supplier of toiletry collections for the luxury hospitality market. Earlier in his career, Mr. Kirschbaum held various senior leadership positions, including Chief Operating Officer of NuWorld Beauty and senior operations positions at Colgate-Palmolive and L'Oreal. Mr. Kirschbaum received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University as well as his Master of Business Administration in Operations Management from Rutgers University School of Business.
