NEW YORK, Dec. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Junior Achievement of New York (JA New York) announced that two new members were elected to its Board of Directors. JA New York officially welcomed Yvette Baez, VP Integrated Marketing, Partner Solutions, Univision and Michael Finn, Senior EVP and Chief Risk Officer, Sterling National Bank. Since 1929, JA New York has worked to provide K-12 students from New York City, Long Island and the Lower Hudson Valley with the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.
Yvette Baez is a VP, Integrated Marketing, Partner Solutions Team at Univision. She leads a team dedicated to thought leadership in the development of insight-based integration and Branded Entertainment solutions for clients. Yvette received her MBA in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University and has over 15 years of Consumer Packaged Goods experience.
Michael Finn serves a Senior EVP and Chief Risk Officer for Sterling Bancorp and Sterling National Bank, a $30 billion regional bank serving the NY metropolitan area. Sterling has 2,000 colleagues serving its commercial and consumer banking clients across over 100 financial centers. He has served on Junior Achievement's Lower Hudson Valley Advisory Board since 2016.
