YouTuber Creates First Online Barber Battle Competition
Timed competition between two local barbers. Winner picked by audience.
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Stephen Marinaro "TheSalonGuy" is launching the first barber competition show called "Head to Head". This will premiere on his YouTube channel, https://youtu.be/hinx9FGc4Kk, which reaches over 588,000 subscribers and averages 1.5 million viewers monthly.
Head to Head will feature local licensed barbers who will showcase their best work while competing against each other in a one on one setting at TheSalonGuy Studios. CEO of TheSalonGuy, Stephen Marinaro, stated, "men's grooming has become such a hot topic in the media world, especially on YouTube and social media. This show will not only highlight their skills, but it will bring needed attention to the Barbering community."
The show will start with the focus on barbers in the New Jersey and New York area. Ultimately, the goal is to take the show nationwide and then to be broadcasted on television. Within a week's time, over 150 barbers have applied to be featured on the program. The first 10 episodes of season 1 are locked in and episode 1 is set to launch on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 7pm EST. The series will air on YouTube every Friday at 7pm EST. Viewers will have three days to cast their vote for the winners here.
