YouNow Goes Viral with New "Moments" Feature that Makes Sharing from Live Broadcasts Easier

NEW YORK, July 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- YouNow, the popular live streaming network, today announced two new additions, "Trending Moments" and "Top Moment Makers" to the recently launched, "Moments" feature which debuted in June.

"Moments" allows users to record and share short clips from YouNow broadcasts. These videos can be saved to the camera roll or posted to social media sites. Since launch, over four million Moments have been created, and 250 million Moments have been shared.

And fans like it as by capturing moments of their favorite broadcasters, they become content creators themselves."

Users can capture Moments from any live broadcast by tapping and holding the screen. They then have the option to write a caption and share it on social media to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Early data has proven that Instagram has been the most popular for sharing moments.

Based on the positive response to "Moments", YouNow created Trending Moments, a leader board for the best content on YouNow crowd sourced by users. The Trending Moments list updates regularly and shows the top moments that people have liked.

Coinciding with Trending Moments, is a new leaderboard called "Top Moment Makers". It showcases YouNow users who have created the most popular Moments with the most amount of likes. This feature sheds a light on the YouNow Community and recognizes their achievement.
