Yosemite Pines Resort Considered Essential Business for Full-Time RVers
GROVELAND, Calif., March 24, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- As the coronavirus (COVID-19) spreads across America, many states are imposing increasingly stricter travel restrictions. However, California has designated RV Parks as essential businesses and those who live and travel full-time in their recreational vehicles (RVs) can still reserve short or long-term camping sites at Yosemite Pines RV Resort and Family Lodging.
The Resort is open and full-time "road warriors" can reserve sites amongst the groves of oak and pine trees. The Resort is encouraging travelers to check with their local travel restrictions before making Resort reservations.
The Yosemite Area Resort currently offers a convenience store, propane, laundry, shower facilities and a dump station, and will soon open their seasonal deli for take-out. Guests can pick up their site information outside the office and drive directly to their sites to observe social distancing requirements.
"We realize that there are some full-time RVers who live in their rigs and are on the road at this moment in time," said Yosemite Pines Resort managers. "These travelers can still reserve camping sites at our Resort, and can utilize our popular discount vouchers for the best rates." The Resort's discount vouchers are available at www.yosemitepinesrv.com/vouchers, and Resort Managers ask that RVers looking for longer-term camping sites call to receive available discounts at (209) 962-7690.
Yosemite Pines Resort has premium pull-thru sites with full hook-ups to accommodate up to 70' rigs, premium back-in sites for rigs up to 45', as well as standard back-in sites with water and electric services for rigs up to 60'. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings.
Yosemite Pines Resort has a fun Petting Farm, including the friendly Alpacas, and also a Playground Play Area, plus Games Area that features a Sand Volleyball Court, Tetherball, Bocce Ball or Horseshoes.
"We can still provide a great place for RVers to reserve camping sites among the tall Pines of the Sierra Nevada foothills," the Resort managers said. "Our staff is available to make sure our RV camping guests feel safe as we all work together to make it through a difficult time and look forward to a brighter future."
Yosemite Pines Resort is located just three miles east of Groveland, CA in California's Gold Country. For more information on available lodging, visit www.yosemitepinesrv.com or call the Resort's Reservation Desk at (209) 962-7690.
