Yoostar™ Appoints James Bartolomei, Philippe Clavel, Nicholas Reichenbach and Shawn Rosen to Key Executive Posts
Company attracts top video game execs as it prepares to launch world's first Social Video Game
NEW YORK, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Yoostar Entertainment Group today announced the appointment of four top video game executives who will play key roles in the launch of the company's next-generation Social Video Game platform. Joining recently announced President and CEO Gregory Fischbach are James Bartolomei as Vice President of North American Sales, Philippe Clavel as Chief Technology Officer, Nicholas Reichenbach as Vice President of Content Acquisition, and Shawn Rosen as Director of Product Development.
Yoostar has been working with one of the industry's leading video game developers to create a console version of its popular Yoostar "Movie Karaoke" system, which will be showcased at the upcoming E3 Expo in June. The next generation game, Yoostar2, combines top Hollywood movie content, Yoostar's proprietary special effects technology, and the power of console computing.
"We're doing more than porting the Yoostar experience over to consoles, we're creating something entirely new—a Social Video Game that bridges the worlds of social gaming, consoles and user-generated video content," said Fischbach. "So we're building a team of exceptional players with deep experience in video games, content acquisition, social media and technology."
James Bartolomei joins Yoostar from Majesco Entertainment, where he served as Vice President of North American Sales. Prior to Majesco, Bartolomei served as Vice President of Sales for Eidos Interactive.
Philippe Clavel joins Yoostar most recently from Sony Online Entertainment. At Sony, Clavel was in charge of web infrastructure for all game portals and commerce web sites, including Everquest 1 and 2, Vanguard, Freerealms, and Clone Wars Adventures. Prior to that, Philippe led the development of multiple, cross-platform social games including World Poker Tour, NFL, NASCAR and Guitar Hero Mobile.
Nicholas Reichenbach most recently served as Executive Vice President for Publishing at Magmic Entertainment in Ottawa, Canada. During his time there, he negotiated licensing and publishing deals with brands including Disney, The New York Times, Marvel Comics, LucasArts and many others.
Shawn Rosen worked at Acclaim Entertainment under Fischbach and has 17 years of experience in the videogame industry. He has been involved with design and production management for titles such as the "Dave Mirra" series, "Aggressive Inline," "Forsaken" and "Shadowman."
