The workshop, taught by certified YogaWorks instructors, will teach participants how to incorporate the benefits of yoga and mindful fitness into their personal training techniques. The two-weekend workshop series will teach participants the benefits of yoga, including increased cardiovascular health, flexibility, muscular endurance and balance. The program also provides hands-on practical experience in how to incorporate these benefits into a personal training session. Topics are broken down into two sections; Part 1 includes sun salutations, standing poses, back bending and abdominals, while Part 2 covers inversions, restoratives, pre-natal and injuries. Participants who complete the series will become an accredited Yoga Fitness Specialist™ YFS™ and receive 3.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
