"My twenty-eight years of experience have been centered on delivering large scale, complex information technology projects across many industries, so I am excited to be working with YJT as they move to expand into other verticals," said Lopata. "Aside from being a resource who can help develop valuable software and service offerings, I also plan to assist YJT as they prepare to handle the changes that come with rapid growth."
Lopata was Chief Architect and Senior Executive at Accenture where he worked for over twenty years, managing 1,000 employees worldwide and handling quality assurance reviews for the firm's most demanding client projects. Since then, Lopata has held an adjunct professor role at Northwestern University's Masters of Engineering Management Program, joined SCORE (a free business counseling and management consulting resource for entrepreneurs) as a Counselor and become an expert witness and CEO of Fair Opinion, an expert witness and consulting firm that provides testimony in legal cases in the field of information technology and computer software.
"We are captivated by Iain and truly eager to glean the wealth of knowledge and insight he brings to our firm," said CEO Linda Bracken. "Iain has that deep technological experience that we so value at our firm but augments it with his involvement as a teacher and leader in the IT entrepreneurial community. We both received our start from the same firm, but we have traveled very different paths!"
YJT Solutions is a Chicago-based provider of IT consulting and managed services to companies in a variety of industries that depend on technology. The firm was founded more than a decade ago to help build the IT infrastructure of some of the most demanding and unforgiving companies in the world: Chicago futures and options trading firms. YJT helped these firms transition into the world of electronic trading, and more recently has helped them scale to meet the extremely low latency and big storage demands of high-frequency trading.
In recent years YJT has expanded in both scope and reach, bringing that same Chicago toughness to help companies in a variety of industries. YJT works to help companies accelerate profits, lower fixed costs, and reduce operational risk.
