YIWU, China, May 9, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Yiwugou.com, the official website of the Yiwu Commodity Market (YCM), which is the largest commodity wholesale market in the world, launched its National Pavilion project at 2017 China Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair on May 6. It is looking for high-quality consumer goods suppliers globally to facilitate the access of consumer goods around the world to the Chinese market through the project.
The Fair, held at the Yiwu International Expo Center from May 6-9, has attracted 1,512 companies and organizations from over 100 countries and regions with more than 100,000 medium to high-end products including daily goods, art crafts, household products, apparel and food & beverage. It was particularly notable that the quality British products brought back by the first Yiwu-to-London freight train were all on display at the Fair. Thanks to China's Belt and Road Initiative, the opening of eight railway freight routes linking Yiwu to Europe will bring more quality goods from countries along the routes to Yiwu, an international trade center, and create a development pattern where imports and exports advance together.
Yiwugou.com, as the official website of the YCM, has been strategically focusing on the synergetic development of online and offline. Yiwu is dedicated to developing imports and aims to be the "bridgehead" where consumer goods around the globe enter China, forming a new pattern of "Purchasing Worldwide, Selling Worldwide". In the meantime, the website's National Pavilion project strives to be an online "bridgehead" of the same purpose and aims to accelerate the realization of "A Big World for Small Commodities".
The Project is looking for overseas companies as a source of quality products, expanding business through regional agents and providing Chinese buyers with a package service of exhibitions and sales of foreign products. Joining hands with third-party comprehensive cross-border trade service providers certified by Yiwugou, it will tackle issues in online transactions such as cross-border payment, logistics and customs procedures. Partners from Malaysia, India, Australia, Japan and the USA are now ready to enter into a collaboration with Yiwugou.com. In 2017, Yiwugou.com will see more countries and regions joining the project and make national pavilions an online distribution center of foreign products in the YCM.
