Yingli Green Energy Congratulates on the Grid Connection of World's Largest Hydro and PV Hybrid Project

BAODING, China, Dec. 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) ("Yingli Green Energy" or the "Company"), the largest vertically integrated photovoltaic ("PV") module manufacturer in the world, known as "Yingli Solar", today expressed its congratulations on the successful grid connection of world's largest hydro and PV hybrid project ("Project"), near the Longyangxia Dam in Qinghai Province, China. The Company has supplied 15 MW YGE series PV modules for the Project.

With a total capacity of 320 MW, the Project began construction in March, 2013 and started grid connection and commissioning last week. During its 25 years lifetime, the Project is expected to deliver 498 million kWh PV electricity per year to the grid.
