Yardi Systems Wins Motion to Dismiss Selected RealPage Counterclaims

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Aug. 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Yardi Systems, Inc. ("Yardi") today announced that on August 11, 2011, the United States District Court for the Central District of California dismissed all counterclaims filed against the Company by RealPage, Inc. (NASDAQ: RP) ("RealPage") for antitrust violations and interference with RealPage's customers.

In the intellectual property suit filed by Yardi against RealPage on January 24, 2011, Yardi alleges that RealPage has gained unauthorized access to Yardi's internal systems, has downloaded copyrighted and trade secret documentation, price lists, and other confidential information, and illegally maintains copies of Yardi's software on RealPage's systems. In subsequent court filings, RealPage admitted to accessing Yardi's password-protected internal website and to downloading Yardi information.  Yardi's claims against RealPage are proceeding through discovery.  Trial is set for August 12, 2012.
