BOCA RATON, Fla., March 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On Thursday, March 19, Boca Grove Golf and Tennis Club hosted a "Yappy Hour" for its members and their furry friends. Special guest, Steve Ginsburg, founder and doggie educator at Charlie's Canine College, provided members with expert tips on how to better communicate with their dogs, and provided nutritional information. Ginsburg also spoke about the great need to support animal shelters, and applauded those who had adopted animals from the Humane Society.
While adults sipped their favorite beverage on the sun-lit veranda at the Boca Grove Golf and Tennis Club, canines of all shapes and sizes participated in the "Bone-Nanza" of doggy treats, squeaky toys and throw balls that were distributed at the event. The timing of the Yappy Hour event couldn't be better to bring attention to the 13th Annual Doggy Ball hosted by the Boca Raton Tri-County Humane Animal Shelter to benefit canines and felines, of which several Boca Grove members are avid supporters and will be attending the ball.
Yappy Hour certainly turned out to be a fun-filled, educational, yappy event. Of the two-legged and four-legged attendees, it was hard to tell who had the better time! But, one thing's for sure, Yappy Hour at Boca Grove will definitely be "Bark" again!
