ST. HELENA, Calif., Aug. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Yao Family Wines is releasing a limited edition bottling of their acclaimed 2014 Napa Crest Proprietary Red wine to commemorate Yao Ming's September 9^th enshrinement to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

With a special holographic Basketball Hall of Fame label that ensures authenticity, and individually numbered bottles, this 1000-bottle offering allows collectors to select their preferred bottle number for a limited time.

The Limited Edition Hall of Fame Commemorative bottle Number 1 will be auctioned off on eBay.com beginning Thursday, August 25 with final bids accepted until Saturday, September 3, to support the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. A percentage of proceeds from the sale of the remaining commemorative Basketball Hall of Fame bottling will be donated to the Basketball Hall of Fame. The 2014 Napa Crest Proprietary Red wine is Yao Ming's signature Bordeaux-style blend. A combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot, the 2014 vintage shows all the depth and character of a spectacular Napa vintage with ability to cellar for ten years or more.

Collectors can order their preferred bottle numbers between 2 and 1,000 by specifying the preferred number in the "Order Notes" section at checkout. The 2014 Yao Family Wines Napa Crest Proprietary Red is available for purchase at $75, or $125 with a selected bottle number, with a six-bottle limit. The wine will deliver in September 2016.
