Xpandion Releases Entire ProfileTailor™ Suite as Cloud/SaaS

TEL AVIV, Israel, May 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Xpandion, a leading provider of software solutions for enterprise security and licensing products for companies using business applications such as SAP®, today announced the release of its entire ProfileTailor™ Suite of solutions as SaaS/Cloud. This move opens up access to this powerful suite of solutions for an increasing number of businesses that can now benefit from its cost-cutting and streamlining capabilities, without requiring considerable in-house technical infrastructure to support it.

Xpandion was one of the first companies that moved to the cloud from its onset. Since Xpandion's 2007 inception, Xpandion's platform was built with the idea of creating a foundation for non-servers installation and its products were developed to support two different models of installation for two different methods of use: first: traditional enterprise software, installed on a server inside the company's network; and second: outside the company, installed on external secured systems.

Now, when Xpandion's customers are looking for cloud based solutions, Xpandion offers access to its products in three ways, allowing customers to choose the best for them:

* The classic enterprise software model

This option includes installation over owned servers, inside the customer's network. Customers can choose this option if they have both strict security considerations and capabilities to supply infrastructure for installation easily. Some customers could choose this option to support online monitoring without having the need to open a channel of communication to the cloud.

* SaaS/Cloud based model over a shared secured cloud

Choosing this option ensures that the customer will not have to install anything on their own server, but still can have full access to their systems, which are located outside of the organization. Currently Xpandion is using secured clouds from Amazon and GoGrid.

* Private cloud

For customers with specific requirements -- either for extended security or special products, Xpandion offers a full dedicated private cloud. This provides the customer with full access to their own cloud and gives them the flexibility to perform a wide variety changes in the software architecture and parameters.
