XL Group Ltd Announces Quarterly Dividend of $0.20 per Ordinary Share; Also Announces Preference Ordinary Share Dividends
HAMILTON, Bermuda, Aug. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- XL Group Ltd ("XL" or the "Company") (NYSE: XL) announced today that the Board of Directors of the Company (the "Board") declared a quarterly dividend on August 5, 2016 of $0.20 per common share payable on the Company's common shares. The dividend will be payable on September 30, 2016 to ordinary shareholders of record as of September 15, 2016.
The Company also announced today that the board of directors of its wholly-owned subsidiary, XLIT Ltd., resolved on August 5, 2016 to pay (a) a dividend of $9.7312 per share on XLIT Ltd.'s Series D Preference Ordinary Shares, which dividend will be paid on October 15, 2016 to all shareholders of record as of October 1, 2016 and (b) a dividend of $32.50 per share on XLIT Ltd.'s Series E Preference Ordinary Shares, which dividend will be paid on October 15, 2016 to all shareholders of record as of October 1, 2016.
