The company's global, multi-disciplinary silicon design team has been named Innovator of the Year finalist for its flagship Virtex-6® and Spartan®-6 FPGA families in recognition for innovation in product design and technical leadership. And, the Xilinx ISE® Design Suite, Virtex-6 HXT and Spartan-6 LXT products have been named Innovation of the Year finalists for unique, state-of-the-art electronics in Design Frameworks and FPGAs.

Between now and March 19, EDN Magazine's worldwide audience of engineers and engineering managers are invited to cast online ballots for the winners in each category (20th Annual EDN Innovation Award Online Ballot). A combination of ballots cast by readers, EDN's editorial advisory board and editorial staff will determine the ultimate winners for announcement at an awards ceremony on April 26 at the Silicon Valley Embedded Systems Conference in San Jose, California. Winning design teams and products will be featured in EDN Magazine's print and online editions on May 13.
