SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Xi3 Corporation today announced it will have the highly anticipated new Intel® NUC models based on Intel Corporation's (NASDAQ:INTC) new 5th Generation Core processors (formerly Broadwell) on display at CES 2015. Xi3 and Intel representatives will be on hand at Xi3's booth #30559 to answer questions on the new enterprise/commercial and consumer-focused models.
Xi3 will begin selling complete 5th generation NUC-based systems in Q1 2015. With Intel's support and the interest Intel has created for the NUC kits, both parties anticipate that large enterprise customers and consumers alike will continue to adopt the fully supported ultra-small form factor products.
"We are approaching an exciting time in the evolution of the PC, where micro-mini systems will become mainstream PC replacements," said Jason Sullivan, CEO of Xi3 Corporation. "These new NUC systems are some of the most powerful and energy efficient systems we have ever offered, and we expect the mainstream adoption of these systems over the next few years."
