Xamarin Announces Worldwide Consulting Partner Program
Company sees dramatic increase in demand for mobile app development services on Xamarin's platform; launches program with over 20 partners
SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Xamarin, the company empowering thousands of businesses to rapidly build rich, native iOS and Android apps, today announced the Xamarin Consulting Partner Program. Driven by the explosive growth that Xamarin has experienced during the past year, with more than 195,000 developers using the platform to build enterprise, consumer and gaming apps, the Consulting Partner Program will help customers accelerate app time-to-market and get the most out of their mobile strategy.
Now, businesses looking to build native applications across device platforms can draw on Xamarin's consulting partner network for deep experience building successful apps for organizations including Microsoft, O2 and City of London, among many others.
The Xamarin Consulting Partner Program has two tiers. Authorized Consulting Partners enable customers to find deep technical expertise within the broad Xamarin development ecosystem. Premier Consulting Partners are hand-selected by Xamarin based on their consulting experience and proven Xamarin expertise as demonstrated by the quality and range of apps shipped on the platform. Xamarin is launching with 10 Premier Consulting Partners, including West Monroe Partners, RBA Consulting, Redpoint Technologies, ITR Mobility, ASP Soft, Hitcents and Info Support, among others.
"Customers know that today's successful mobile strategy must deliver great apps to users across a broad spectrum of devices," said John Sprunger, mobility practice lead at West Monroe Partners, a Xamarin Premier Partner. "With Xamarin, we can deliver the reach and user experiences that our customers desire quickly and cost effectively."
Alongside the Consulting Partner Program, Xamarin is also announcing a series of consulting services packages to be delivered by select Premier Partners. The packages, which are designed to help customers at any stage of mobile development, include:
- The App Kickoff package which focuses on architecture, best practices and solutions to mobile-unique problems.
- The InFlight Review package which includes a code review to identify solutions to problems and opportunities for performance and memory optimization.
- The Lightning Consultation package which is designed to provide quick answers to specific problems.
"Mobile is now central to business strategy as companies recognize the power to transform customer relationships and business processes," said Nat Friedman, co-founder and CEO at Xamarin. "A successful mobile strategy means delivering amazing mobile experiences across a diverse device landscape, quickly. Our Consulting Partners and Services accelerate and improve mobile strategy and execution for companies who want faster, better results."
