Wyndham Worldwide Corporation Announces $500 Million Increase in Share Repurchase Program
Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Aug. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Wyndham Worldwide Corporation (NYSE:WYN) announced today that its Board of Directors increased the Company's share repurchase authorization by $500 million. The Board also declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share on its common stock payable September 9, 2011 to shareholders of record as of August 25, 2011.

Through the third quarter to date, the Company repurchased 4.7 million shares for $141 million. Through 2011 to date, the Company repurchased 16.6 million shares for $514 million. With the $500 million increase, Wyndham Worldwide has approximately $755 million remaining on its repurchase authorization.
